Students have to go to this link, and do the exercise show there.
http://www.learnenglish.de/Games/CountUncount/CountUncount.htm
After you finished doing this you have to go to this link: http://mind42.com/mindmaps, and what you have to do is to add new moods, and write words that are countable or uncountable in their corresponding side.
To add moods, you just have to click on the word where you want to add it. and click on the green arrow, and then you can start writing.
And then what do they do? How do you know your students have understood the activity? What else can you do?
ReplyDeleteHello, I just did the activity and I liked the fact that when you click on the right answer a small chart, which provides more information about countables/ uncountables, appears because this helps for the students´understanding of the target grammar.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, I´m in agreement with teacher Aida´s comment since it´s necessary to make sure students have understood the activity and also make sure they have really done it.
My suggestion is that students create a picture map on Mind42.com.
In the left side of the map, students should add pictures of countable things and in the right side students should add pictures of uncountable things. After they finish, they should publish it by sharing their links on facebook.
