  • Role play: Students have to make groups of five and roleplay any of the situations below:
- Your mother asks you to go to the supermarket but as you do not like taking notes, you prefer to go by repeating the list. Then a friend of you meets you on your way and start to talk to you, so that you forget what you are going to buy.

Record your role play, and send it to the teacher´s e-mail (alexjandro26@hotmail.com)

  1. Describing a picture... what if instead of sending it to your email, they record themselves in voicetheread, they can add comments once you invite them to do it so

  3. About the Controlled, I really like the excercises you choosed because they are appropriated for this kind of practice. I have not comments for an improvement since in my opinion all of them are correct.

  4. About the Semi-controlled, I love the excercises; specially the first one in which students have to create a story using your vocabulary, I think is very creative.

  6. About the Free Practice, I love role plays, debates and activities in which students can be able to perform and to be creative. I really like your activities in general, but I have some suggestions for them.
For the first activity, It would be nice if students upload their role play videos on voicethread.com so that the rest of them can be able to watch them and to make some comments.
For the debate, It would be nice to include topics such as: Are Bananas more delicious than Oranges? or Are donuts more delicious than fries? because students can be able to describe food´s taste and texture which is part of the target vocabulary.
For "my recipe" activity, It would be nice if you set as a rule that students say if the ingredients they are to use are countables or uncountables and why.

  7. I did not ask students to upload the video because they might not like to have something like that public. if you see the other activities in which they are to record a video, they will send it to the teacher´s e-mail.
In the debate, there are topics provided so that students have something to start the talkgroup about, but your suggestion is ok. thanks.
